Home Decor, Color Schemes, etc...
Hey, so several of the ladies around me have been asking me what the colors of my home are... I can't say I have a definite "Color Scheme", but I can definitely give examples of my interior design.
Throughout my house I plan to have antique black accents; mirrors, picture frames, coasters, and décor in general. (I want A LOT of picture frames!) This would be the easiest theme for people to remember as they consider my house: dark antique black.
I also want white accents. Such as candle stands, wall sconces, etc... This is not as prominent as the antique black thought!
We have dark cherry stained wood cupboards everywhere, along with a dark cherry table and dark mocha-colored leather couches. We also have various colors the different rooms. The kitchen has avocado green walls, the living room is a cool, ocean blue, my front family room is dark ruby red, and the master bed room is plum. There is a neutral light mocha color through out the house that draws it together.... The house is so big it absorbs all of these colors and make it feel very homey.
So I am sorry I cannot give a specific color I want in my house... This is how I plan to paint and design it. Hopefully this gave you an idea of my vision!
