David & Kaitlyn's Story
We met each other years ago, shared the same beliefs, had similar lifestyles, and wanted to accomplish complimentary things in our future. It has only been in the past two years that we have had a serious interest in each other, before that we were just friends. Although I'm sure that much more would have occurred sooner if it hadn't been for our four year age difference!
Our time together in 2008 was spent with just a lot of time together, growing our friendship and interests, discovering new similarities and challenges and just enjoying life. In 2009 we started "officially dating", whatever this means in today's society! Still, because of the age difference, our dating was sporadic. Yet during this period both of us and those near to us clearly understood our interests and intentions for the future...
On May 8, 2010 David proposed at Lovers Point, Monterrey. It was wonderful, well planned and romantic. The beach is the most beautiful place on earth. Always has been. And now it holds even more for the two of us! So, we were engaged, and jumped right into planning. Our wedding date is February 26, 2011 and will take place at Grace Fellowship in Jackson. Things have been great for us so far. Plenty of bumps, but the end is worth the means- right?
We are so excited as we begin the rest of our lives together, and are confident that this is the will of God. Thank you all for your encouragement and friendship throughout all of the years gone by, and for being with us as we go through all of these changes!
